Gedicht van de week: Butterfly (Jada Faith)

Radio Lelystad plaatst wekelijks een ‘Gedicht van de Week’ van een Lelystedeling. Er loopt namelijk veel dichttalent rond in Lelystad, en dat verdient een podium, ook op onze site. Bovendien is dichten leuk, inspireren de gedichten andere mensen wellicht ook tot dichten en bieden gedichten vaak een andere kijk op de werkelijkheid – bijvoorbeeld een actueel onderwerp.

Het gedicht van de week is ditmaal van Jada Faith. Al van kleins af aan heeft Jada Faith een grote passie voor muziek. De 16-jarige singer-songwriter schrijft haar eigen songs en leerde zichzelf gitaar spelen. Jada komt uit een muzikale familie en kreeg haar eerste zangles op de ZOI GOSPEL Academie, een initiatief van Berget Lewis en Shirma Rouse. Al op 10-jarige leeftijd was ze te zien in The Voice Kids, waar ze het drie jaar later tot The Sing Offs wist te schoppen.
